Job description:

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • A unique position requiring the management of customer relationships from introduction, receipt of sale, production, shipment & invoice.
  • Reporting to the Trade Marketing Manager, while working closely with the broader sales and marketing team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Possession of the ability to manage and grow customer relationships through insightfulness, market & brand knowledge
  • Maximise all opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Relentless desire to continuously overachieve on all revenue generating activities
  • Strive to identify and secure new business opportunities, and provide creativity and innovation to continue to grow and develop revenues in line with the sales strategy
  • Management of all sales, planning, shipping, invoicing & communications required to support customer sales in this bespoke market and additional projects as role evolves
  • Develop good working relationships in order to deliver objectives

Knowledge & Skills

  • Love of all things equine a must
  • 2+ years’ experience within a marketing / sales environment
  • Ability to Identify and anticipate customer needs and exceed expectations
  • Proven ability to passionately overdeliver on targets
  • Ability to develop, implement and measure sales
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to create and deliver world class service
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and manage relationships with key customers & supporting departments
  • Understanding of customer requirements and brand strategies
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at any one time and prioritise business needs.
  • Demonstrate an ability to meet precise deadlines, often within a pressurised environment, with high levels of energy, self-motivation and a conscientious, can-do attitude.
  • Outstanding people, conversation & social skills – great at getting on with people and making things happen.
  • Able to work on your own initiative and as an integral part of a team, with willingness and ability to learn quickly.
